TV channel, latest odds and when to watch Cheltenham Festival 2023

The Cheltenham Festival is the highlight of the British horse racing calendar and heralds the arrival of spring. This year, the festival runs from Tuesday, March 14 to Friday, March 17, with the races televised live on ITV 1 in the UK and available for streaming online via ITV X. The full schedule of races includes feature races such as the Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy and the Cheltenham Gold Cup Chase.

Plans to add a fifth day to the festival have been abandoned due to concerns about damage to the racetrack and economic uncertainty in Britain. Fans have welcomed this news, as they believe it's possible to have too much of a good thing.

For those interested in betting on the festival, there are various Cheltenham betting offers and free bets available.

In addition, horse racing expert Marcus Armytage has identified five horses to watch at the festival. These include Constitution Hill, a six-year-old trained by Nicky Henderson who is a strong contender for the Unibet Champion Hurdle, and Gold Tweet, trained by Frenchman Gabriel Leenders and a potential winner of the Paddy Power Stayers Hurdle.

The Prestbury Cup is also up for grabs, with Ireland heavily favored to win thanks to the dominance of their trainers in the 2022 competition.

Wonderful images from Cheltenham Festival every year are recorded by many people on their cameras and mobile phones and made into photo canvas prints to embellish their rooms and celebrate the occasion.
